World's Highest Motorable Road- Umling La Pass
India has set a new record as the world's highest motorable road has been constructed. Thanks to the efforts of the Border Roads Organization, India can now claim the highest motorable road in the world. Now motor vehicles can go directly to these areas without any problem. India has constructed a 52-km-long road, at the height of 19,300 feet at Umlingala Pass in eastern Ladakh.
