Kanpur Airport
The city of Kanpur, which is called the commercial capital of Uttar Pradesh, is the center of leather, textile and defense production. It was also once called the 'Manchester of the East'. The city is also known for historical pilgrimage places and various prominent institutions, due to which there is a large number of air travellers. Kanpur Airport is gearing up for development with world-class facilities to facilitate passengers with a better air travel experience. Keeping in view the huge passenger traffic growth at Kanpur Airport, the Airports Authority of India has started the work of developing the airport.
